The Forgebench MCP server connects tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex directly to your Forgebench workspace. Instead of configuring agents manually in a web console, you can onboard codebases, assign tool access, and manage budgets through conversational prompts.

Scan your repository locally to discover declared AI agents, MCP servers, and tool bindings in seconds.

Manage budgets

Set monthly spending caps, daily key limits, and rate limits without leaving your chat session.

Issue agent credentials

Claim agent API keys securely in your browser — secrets are never displayed or stored in chat transcripts.

How you use it

Once connected, you interact with Forgebench using plain conversational instructions:

"Onboard this repo to Forgebench"
"Set Researcher's monthly budget to $40"
"Give me an API key for Researcher"

Every mutating action follows a Review → Plan → Apply flow: your assistant shows you a clear summary of what will change and asks for your confirmation before anything is applied.
